The Powder Springs City Council voted recently spend $519,841 for road resurfacing, mowing and water line repairs.

With state funding, Bartow Paving Co. will be paid $369,271 to complete resurfacing of Oglesby Road and Thornbridge, Childress and Carrington Park drives.

TruGreen Landcare will receive $112,677 for mowing and maintenance throughout the city for the next year.

Ardito Construction will be paid about $37,893 to repair and replace a 36-inch storm drain and repair a 6-inch water line on Sharon Drive.
