Two Gwinnett County men have been charged with the death of another teen during a drug deal at an apartment complex last month, police said Thursday.

Brandon Mosley, 19, and Hunter Mason Davis, 17, each face murder and aggravated assault charges in the June 28 shooting death of 19-year-old Angelo Michael Larocca, Cpl. Edwin Ritter with Gwinnett County police said.

Investigators believe Davis arranged a drug transaction with Larocca at the complex and Mosley was the shooter, according to Stacey Bourbonnais with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department.

A Gwinnett police officer on routine patrol at the Columns at Paxton Apartments found Larocca's body, within minutes of reports of gunshots being heard in the area, police previously told the AJC. The courtesy officer for the apartments, located in the 4300 block of Paxton Lane, found the victim in a back breezeway at the complex, near Killian Hill Road and U.S. 78.

Larocca did not live in the complex, but Mosley did, police said. Davis has a Snellville address.

Both Mosley and Davis were booked into the Gwinnett County jail, where they were being held without bond Thursday afternoon.
