Atlanta police recovered the SUV that belonged to an Atlanta businessman who was killed early Monday outside his home, but they are still looking for the person responsible for his death, Channel 2 Action News reported Friday.

Police released a surveillance video of a man in a convenience store who they believe can help them with the case. The man, who is not considered a suspect at this time, was driving the victim's vehicle and is needed for questioning, authorities said.

Terry Porter, 39, who owned several businesses in the metro area, was found dead by a neighbor outside his southwest Atlanta home in the 1400 block of South Gordon Street. He had been shot in the head and his black Range Rover was gone, police said.

A Crime Stoppers tip led police to the vehicle at a Midtown apartment complex, Channel 2 said. Investigators examined the SUV for evidence.

Anyone with information on the case should call Atlanta police homicide investigators at 404-546-4235 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
