Police have released surveillance photos of two young men suspected in a rash of car thefts around Gwinnett County malls.

The suspects are believed to have stolen 12 cars, mostly 1990s Honda Civics and Accords, from Gwinnett Place Mall, Discover Mills and Mall of Georgia, police said. The thefts occurred Aug. 6-8.

Police said the suspects were seen on surveillance video parking one stolen car and stealing another. In the photos released Wednesday, the suspects are walking into the BrandsMart near the Mall of Georgia, police said. One is wearing a white ballcap with a dark shirt and blue jeans, while the other is wearing a dark ballcap with a plaid button shirt and khaki shorts.
