Atlanta police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed a man late Wednesday night.

The shooting happened about 10 p.m. on Greenwich Street at Atwood Street, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.

The victim, whose name has not been released, "was sitting on a retaining wall when he was confronted by an unknown gunman and possibly one to two other males," Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones told the AJC.

"According to bystanders, there was no conflict or any hostility prior to the shooting," Jones said.
