Police investigating deadly incident in DeKalb
DeKalb County police were investigating a deadly incident at a shopping plaza Wednesday night.
One person was shot and one was run over in a parking lot in the 2000 block of South Hairston Road near Decatur, Channel 2 Action News reported. The incident reportedly began in front of Publix and ended up in front of Walgreens.
The person who was run over was killed, while the shooting victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in serious condition, Channel 2 said.
Police did not yet know if the person who was run over was also shot, DeKalb police Lt. Antonio Catlin said.
No other information was immediately available.
