Police identified a man killed in a Lilburn crash as 23-year-old college student.

Ryan Crowley died after crashing into a tree, Lilburn Police Sgt. Stephen Weed said Tuesday.

The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday on Arcado Road near Lockring Drive. Crowley was driving west on Arcado when he lost control of his 2004 Subaru Impreza as he was going around a curve and struck a tree, police said.

Paramedics rushed Crowley to Eastside Medical Center, where he later died, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.

Crowley had just turned 23 and was taking classes at Georgia Perimeter College, according to his Myspace page.
