Sandy Springs Police officers will be on hand Thursday for the second annual Christmas Dinner with the residents of the Ronald McDonald House at 5420 Peachtree Dunwoody Road.

The Ronald McDonald House program provides a temporary residence for families so they can stay near their hospitalized child at little or no cost. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m., with dinner catered by Carl's Cafe. Following dinner, the children will open gifts from the officers.
