The Braves open their 2012 home baseball season with a weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers, and the weather should be spot-on perfect for the return of the boys of summer.

Weekend road construction projects that could impact traffic around town include repaving that will block a couple of lanes of I-75 southbound from Cleveland Avenue to just north of Forest Parkway, beginning at 9 p.m. Friday and continuing through 9 p.m. Saturday.
In DeKalb County, significant delays are expected on I-285 eastbound, where the three left lanes wil be closed from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Buford Highway all weekend.
Meanwhile, in Gwinnett County, authorities will be pacing traffic on I-85 in both directions north of Ga. 20 for bridge work at Ga. 324.
