A pedestrian was injured early Wednesday when he was struck by a vehicle on a busy DeKalb County road.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Buford Highway just north of I-285.
DeKalb police dispatchers told the AM750 and 95.5FM News/Talk WSB Traffic Center that the man sustained a broken leg and a head injury.
The man's name was not immediately released.
Two northbound lanes of Buford Highway were closed while police investigated the accident but had reopened by 7 a.m.
