Peachtree Corners sets qualifying fees

The Peachtree Corners City Council voted Tuesday to fix qualifying fees for the Nov. 3 city election. The mayor and three councilmember seats, posts 1, 3 and 5, are up for election. As required by the state, the qualifying fee is three percent of each position’s total gross salary making the mayor’s fee $270 and $240 for each city council post.

The qualifying dates are Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.
