Peachtree Corners officials will hold the next community meeting on a proposed pedestrian bridge from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 23 at City Hall, 147 Technology Parkway.

The first part of the meeting will be a review of bridge options previously presented to the community in March. Those attending the meeting will then be invited to review the designs, ask questions and talk with the mayor, councilmembers and other representatives.

Peachtree Corners is considering using SPLOST funds to build an “iconic” pedestrian bridge to cross S.R. 141/Peachtree Parkway between the Forum shopping center and the city’s soon-to-be town center. Five designs have been proposed including two dramatic suspension bridge options.

City leaders call the bridge an “opportunity to create a distinctive landmark” and help further establish the city’s brand.
