Peachtree Corners considering new ordinance to protect land

During the Peachtree Corners City Council work session on Tuesday, Community Development Director Diana Wheeler presented information about a possible Open Space Preservation Ordinance.

The purpose of the ordinance is to incentivize private property owners to donate land the city could use for its planned multi-use trail system. Council members authorized Wheeler to begin drafting an ordinance for the city to consider at an upcoming meeting.
