The Peachtree Corners City Council recently adopted an Arts Master Plan. The plan, created in conjunction with the city’s Arts Council, was prepared by the Sizemore Group in association with Noell Consulting Group and Judy Barber Studio. The council will meet again July 10 to discuss which elements of the plan will be implemented first.

Key recommendations include the creation of a performing arts center, additional cultural events and festivals, public art and arts programming. Each recommendation includes options for implementation and funding strategies. Options are also prioritized, based on what is most feasible for the city at this time.

The Arts Master Plan also includes recommended first year priorities and five year next steps. Residents may view the plan at www.peachtreecornersga.gov. Click on Agendas and Minutes, City Council, then select the agenda packet for the June 20 meeting. Scroll down to find the Arts Master Plan.
