Paulding voters to decide on $77 million detention center

Paulding County voters will decide in the Nov. 8 general election whether to issue $77 million in general obligation bonds to replace the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office detention center and related facilities.

If approved, the money also would be used to pay capitalized interest on the bonds and costs with issuing the bonds.
