‘Operation Safe Sale’ sites provided by Cobb sheriff
Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren advises those who make financial transactions for goods advertised on Craigslist or any other website with someone they do not know to use two sites.
They are the parking lot of the Cobb Sheriff’s Office jail and jail administration building, 1825 County Services Parkway, Marietta or the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters on the Marietta Square.
The jail has plenty of parking, security and lighting.
Residents seeking to use these areas for transactions should notify the Cobb Sheriff’s Office at 770-499-4212 to speak with the on-duty watch commander.
