The American Flyers Flight School will host an open house and cookout later in July for anyone interested in learning about flying small airplanes.
The free event features training aircraft and a chance to tour flight simulators at the school. Everyone attending receives a certificate for two free hours of instruction in a simulator.
Lunch starts promptly at noon on Saturday, July 9 at American Flyers on the west side of the airport.
