Oktoberfest coming to Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain will host a Village Oktoberfest party next month to celebrate the arrival of fall.

The festival in the historic downtown will feature German beer and food, as well as live music and dancing. There also will be an arts festival celebrating locally produced work.

The event will be held Oct. 12 and 13 on Main Street in Stone Mountain Village. Admission is free.
