Norcross keeps same millage rate for 2012
The Norcross City Council approved Monday the property tax millage rate for Fiscal Year 2012.
The city's millage rate will stay at 6.424 milles, the same as the previous two fiscal years. The council ultimately approved a lower rate than the proposed one of 7.018.
Norcross anticipates a 11 percent increase in its $638.6 million tax digest, largely because of a couple annexations that brought in more businesses.
