A shuffling of personnel in the Marietta City Schools will result in new principals at several locations.

Effective July 1, Jennifer Hernandez will succeed Karen Smits at the Marietta Center for Advanced Academics, and Smits will run West Side Elementary.

Devonne Harper will replace Gabriel Carmona as head of Lockheed Elementary while Carmona moves to Marietta Sixth Grade Academy. Carmona is replacing Dayton Hibbs, who was promoted to assistant superintendent.
