With the US 10K Classic foot race on hiatus this Labor Day, another group is filling the void.
Miles for Cystic Fibrosis will hold its Big Peach Sizzler 10K race on Sept. 5 this year, said race coordinator and organization director Sue Stein. The Atlanta non-profit will contribute proceeds to cystic fibrosis research.
The race starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamblee MARTA station, 5200 New Peachtree Rd. Register online at active.com or at any of the five Big Peach Running Co. stores in metro Atlanta. Information: milesforcysticfibrosis.org.
