A Hogansville man was killed Friday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree in unincorporated Coweta County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
James Randall Morgan, 39, was traveling on Walton Road around 7:20 p.m. when his motorcycle ran off the road at a curve, went down a ditch and became airborne before crashing into the tree, authorities said.
GSP told Channel 2 Action News the Troup County man was not wearing a helmet. Authorities said no one else was injured in the accident.
