A Marietta mother with her three kids in tow recently blew four times the legal limit on a breathalyzer, police say.

Elizabeth Marie Durbin made matters worse, according to a criminal warrant, by kicking an officer in the leg after she was taken to Marietta police headquarters. Before that, Durbin, 25, kicked the rear window out of the patrol car, the warrant, dated Aug. 29, states. She was charged with two felonies: obstruction and interference with government property.

Durbin was arrested a little after 5 p.m. on busy Delk Road. The officer who pulled her over found a 24-ounce Natural Ice beer can in the SUV, along with her 5-year-old twin boys and 3-year-old daughter, according to the warrant.

Durbin told the officer she had consumed the beer an hour earlier but proceeded to register 0.297 on a breath test, the warrant states. The legal limit is 0.08.

In addition to the felonies, Durbin faces a DUI charge, three counts of DUI child endangerment and driving with an open container. She was released on $15,000 bond.
