Johns Creek is adding opportunities for residents to participate in “Connect Johns Creek,” the update of the city’s Comprehensive Plan, by offering an online survey and scheduling public informational meetings.
The survey asks residents what they think about Johns Creek today and what they'd like to see in the future. It takes about 15 minutes to complete and is available at: bit.ly/2di3gFZ
Community Education Sessions are planned for Sept. 29 and Jan. 24. A kick-off Planning Workshop is set for Oct. 27; a second session is planned for Nov. 10. All meetings start at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Additional workshops are expected Jan. 24-26 (three days) and April 20; details to follow.
The Comprehensive Plan addresses land uses, vehicular and pedestrian transportation, potential locations for a town center, land conservation and preservation, and policy recommendations for the city’s growth.
