More Atlanta cops to hit the streets

Twenty-six Atlanta police officers will soon begin foot patrols in portions of Buckhead, northwest and north Atlanta, city officials said Thursday.

The officers graduated Tuesday from the Atlanta police academy.

They will do foot patrols for eight weeks, said Atlanta police Sgt. Lisa Keyes.
