Three additional suspects have been charged in connection with a burglary at a Forsyth County jewelry store, police said Friday afternoon.

That brings the total to five people accused of taking $2.8 million worth of jewelry and cash from Milano Fine Jewelry, and there could be others, Capt. Tim House with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said.

Michael T. Holloway, 35, Connie Holloway, 52, and Amanda Hogan, 27, all from Smyrna, were arrested Thursday night, House said. Each has been charged with one count of party to the crime of burglary and theft by taking. All three were arrested at the home of Connie Holloway, the mother of Michael T. Holloway and Kenardis Holloway.

Kenardis Holloway, 32, of Smyrna, and Carl Henry Bowser, III, 26, of Atlanta, were both arrested Wednesday and charged with burglary and theft by receiving.

All five suspects are in the Forsyth County jail, where they are being held without bond, House said.

Sometime last weekend, burglars cut a hole in the wall of Milano Fine Jewelry, on Buford Road near Cumming, police said. The suspects then ransacked the store, breaking glass cases, security cameras and the safe while stealing cash and jewelry.

Construction workers discovered the gaping hole in an adjacent store Monday morning and called police. Investigators said the crime was different than others because of the time spent inside the store, House said.

"They knew what they were doing and what they were looking for," House told the AJC earlier this week.

Search warrants have been executed at Connie Holloway's home in Cobb County and another home in Clayton County, police said Friday.

“This is still a very active and ongoing investigation,” said Lt. Col. Gene Moss with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Police have declined to say if the same suspects could be linked to other crimes.
