Public hearings have been scheduled to discuss new millage rates and possible tax increases for Fayette County, Peachtree City, Fayetteville and the Fayette County Board of Education.

The county will hold special called meetings at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the Board of Commissioners meeting room at 140 Stonewall Avenue in Fayetteville. Peachtree City will hold its public hearings at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 15 and at 9 a.m. on Aug. 22 at City Hall, 151 Willowbend Road. The BOE will hold its millage hearings at noon and 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 and at 6 p.m. on Aug. 21, all at the LaFayette Educational Center, 205 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville. Fayetteville’s hearings will be held at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Aug. 15 and at 6 p.m. on Aug. 29 at City Hall, 240 South Glynn Street.
