The Atlanta school board will meet Monday to work on issues related to restoring full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Young T. Hughley Jr., who has led the Resources for Residents and Communities organization for more than two decades, is retiring.
Hughley, retiring chief executive officer, founded the Reynoldstown-based nonproft, which offers programs such as homebuyer education and counseling, financial education and foreclosure prevention counseling. Hughley will remain as CEO until a replacement is found.
A graduate of Morehouse College, Hughley started the organization with $12,000 in seed capital. SHELIA POOLE

The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a $1.6 million contract to Routematch Software. The software is to help local mass transit agencies with dispatching and scheduling, and filing reports with DOT.
It can be used by agencies across the state, and in the metro area is already used by Henry County Transit, according to Daisy Wall, vice president of marketing for RouteMatch Software. ARIEL HART
