Two men were arrested Tuesday after what the FBI called "an armed takeover style" bank robbery in Duluth.

Men wearing masks and carrying at least one semi-automatic handgun entered the Wells Fargo bank at 3072 Old Norcross Road around 11:15 a.m., the FBI said.

The robbers fled in a maroon Honda Accord after seizing an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

"Officers got behind the suspect vehicle on I-85 south and pursued it onto Pleasantdale Road," Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said.

Upon exiting, the robbers crashed into several vehicles at an intersection near a gas station, then left their vehicle and ran, the FBI said.

Both suspects were caught on foot in the area, Smith said.

Anwand R. Jackson, 34, of Norcross and Herbert Hector, 36, of Atlanta face federal charges related to armed bank robbery, the FBI said.
