Violations including employees touching ready-to-serve food with bare hands, uncovered food containers in storage and employees failing to wear beard nets were some of the issues noted in the inspection report.

A person at the restaurant, who identified themselves as the manager and asked not to be named, said the inspection score is not a reflection of their location.

“Most of it was was silly staff issues,” the manager said. “These aren’t daily issues. It’s all been taken care of.”

The restaurant scored an 85 on its July 2017 inspection and a 91 on its April 2016 inspection.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
