Brisk ticket sales pushed the jackpot for Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing to $363 million, just $27 million shy of the record Georgia Lottery payout.

If a single player matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing -- 9, 19, 34, 44, 51, Mega Ball 24 -- he or she can chose from $13 million a year for 26 years or a single payment worth approximately $259 million before taxes.

The top prize for the multi-state game has been growing steadily since Marcia Adams of College Park won a $72 million jackpot in late January. The jackpot has rolled over 17 times since then.

The record Georgia Lottery Mega Millions jackpot of $390 million was won on March 6, 2007. That jackpot was split by players in Georgia and New Jersey.

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball game is $50 million.
