Marietta city officials are making it easier to report potholes.

The city website, www.mariettaga.gov, now has a link to report potholes and street repair.

Find it on the front page near the top right highlighted in orange as “Pot Hole/Street Repair” just below “Active Shooter Preparedness” in red letters.

Councilman Grif Chalfant said he is hoping the city will be designated as a Pothole-Free City, meaning all city potholes would be filled and as soon as they occur on an ongoing basis.

The free MyMarietta app (www.mariettaga.gov/city/services/mymarietta) also is available to report problems on mobile devices for review on weekdays.

The app should not be used for hazardous situations that needs immediate attention, such as open manhole covers, fires, etc.
