Mandatory meeting set for parents of Fulton campers

Manual Scott, whose story of going from a high school dropout to highly sought-after motivational speaker, will speak to Fulton County Schools parents at a series of mandatory meetings for students selected to participate in the district’s Title I HB3 Summer Camp.

Scott often speaks to parents about the importance of being proactively involved in their child’s academic life.

The first parent meeting will be held Tuesday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at Holcomb Bridge Middle School, 2700 Holcomb Bridge Road in Alpharetta.

A meeting on the Southside will be held Thursday, May 31 at 7 p.m. at Tri-Cities High School, 2575 Harris St. in East Point.
