The man who fell to his death from the 18th-floor balcony of a condominium building near downtown Atlanta early Wednesday has been identified as 23-year-old Jordan Hill of Atlanta.

The incident happened just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the City Heights Condominiums in the 300 block of Ralph McGill Boulevard, according to Atlanta police dispatchers.

Channel 2 Action News reported that detectives were interviewing the restaurant worker’s roommate.

“She’s telling us the last time she saw him is him standing on the balcony smoking a cigarette and after that, he just basically disappeared from sight,” Atlanta police Capt. Adam Lee III told Channel 2. “She ran downstairs to find him deceased on the ground.”
