A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Tuesday in Lithia Springs about 7:40 p.m, according to Glenn Daniel, Douglas County police spokesman.

The accident happened at the 6400 block of Temple Street.

Police are note sure if it was accidental or suicidal.

There are no road closures.
