Cobb County police continued to search Monday for the person who stabbed and killed a man in the parking lot of a restaurant, police said.
The 28-year-old man, whose name was not released pending notification of family, was found in the parking lot of the Los Bravos restaurant in the 1300 block of Powers Ferry Road near Marietta, around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb County police.
A 911 caller reported that a man with a knife was at the restaurant, and responding officers found the victim, who had been stabbed multiple times, Pierce said Sunday night. The victim was dead upon arrival at a local hospital, police said.
Witnesses told police the suspect drove away in a red Cadillac CTS. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Cobb County police at 770-499-3945.
The homicide was the second in four days in Cobb County.
