Man dies after being shot in Southwest Atlanta

A man died after being shot in the head during an argument in Southwest Atlanta Friday night, police have confirmed.

Few details were available early Saturday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that two people were arguing at the 1170 block of Ira Street when one pulled out a gun and shot the other one in the head.

The person was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
