They’re back!

The Blue Angels’ famous “Fat Albert” C-130 cargo plane flies into Marietta Thursday to pick up donations from Lockheed Martin employees on a Toys for Tots mission flight.

In addition to picking up Lockheed donations, Fat Albert — built in Marietta — will collect toys donated by Toys “R” Us, Inc. The toys will then be transported to Toys for Tots coordinators in the Gulf Coast area. There, Marines and other volunteers will assemble the donations for needy children.

Fat Albert arrives at Lockheed Martin’s Marietta location around 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.
