The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will seek to bar a Cartersville home loan consultant from employment with any bank or depository institution at a public hearing on Tuesday.
Colleen Adams is accused of withdrawing funds from several Wachovia customers’ accounts without their authorization in 2005 and 2006.
The hearing before an administrative law judge is at 9 a.m. at U.S. District Court in Rome. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency was created by Congress to charter and oversee national banking institutions.
