Lightning strikes eerily close to an Atlanta landmark, the SunTrust building — as seen from Irwin Street near Boulevard — on Sunday as a wide band of storms made its way through North Georgia. The storms knocked out power to 6,000 Georgia Power customers and caused severe delays at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
