Lawrenceville will show their support of law enforcement officers during National Police Week May 12 through 18. The city is inviting citizens to show their appreciation as well by displaying blue light bulbs at their homes during law enforcement week.

Citizens can help ‘Light Lawrenceville Blue’ by purchasing blue light bulbs between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at City Hall, 70 S. Clayton St., or at Lawrenceville events throughout the spring. Bulbs are $5 with proceeds going to the Lawrenceville Police Benevolent Fund.

Citizens may also join Lawrenceville police for ‘Pizza with Police’ 6 to 8 p.m. May 9 at the Lawrenceville Lawn.
