Lawrenceville approves contract for Nash Street extension

April 2, 2020At Lawrenceville’s March 23 city council meeting held by teleconference, the city council voted to award the Nash Street Extension Project to the lowest of nine bidders, Georgia-based Pittman Construction Company.
This project consists of extending Nash Street, widening sidewalks, clearing and grading. The project will also include storm water drainage improvements, a retaining wall, and new landscaping.
Nash Street currently ends half-way between Constitution Boulevard and Gwinnett Drive near the Gwinnett County Division of Family and Children Services office.
The $1,622,837 project is funded by the city’s Capital Outlay Fund.
