Lanes closing for sidewalk construction at Jimmy Carter bridge

Construction continues related to the new Jimmy Carter Boulevard/Interstate 85 bridge. This week, contractors will be installing sidewalk panels for the bridge walkway, pouring concrete for sidewalks, islands, curb and gutter, and placing topsoil in the island medians along Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Drivers can expect one right lane closed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday east and westbound on Jimmy Carter between Goshen Springs and McDonough Drive, as well as one left lane of the north and southbound exit ramps.
