At 8:46 a.m. Sunday, customers and employees at Kroger stores in the Atlanta division will pause for a moment of silence to honor victims and heroes of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
The observance will also be held at Kroger stores throughout the nation.
Additionally, stores in the Atlanta division, which includes stores in Georgia, Northern Alabama, South Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, will bring gift baskets, refreshments and others items to local fire stations.
