Kammerer joins Candler as bishop-in-residence

Charlene Kammerer, bishop of the Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church, will join the faculty of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology as bishop-in-residence.

She joins Candler in  January 2013 and serves until 2016. Kammerer is retiring from the active episcopacy in 2012.
