A jury in the murder trial for the 45-year-old Joanna Hayes in Gwinnett County adjourned their deliberations at 5 p.m. Monday and planned to resume Tuesday morning.

Jurors have asked Superior Court Judge Warren Davis for permission to review a video recording of Snellville Police detectives questioning Hayes' son, Steven Strube. The video includes a recorded phone call Strube made to her from the interrogation room in which he asks "mom, why'd you do it?" The jury will review the footage when they reconvene at 9 a.m.

Hayes is charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. Prosecutors say Hayes dressed as a man and wore a wig and mustache to avoid being recognized when she shot her daughter-in-law, Heather Strube, in a busy Target parking lot in Snellville on April 26, 2009.
