A man who suffered a brain injury while serving in the U.S. Air Force is missing, his brother said Friday.

Mitchell Alan McHugh, 51, was last seen at his brother's Jonesboro home Tuesday.

He is believed to be driving a silver 2012 Honda Pilot with tag CAH9986. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3648.

A Mattie's Call was issued Wednesday for McHugh. The AJC incorrectly reported McHugh had been located Thursday.

Police say McHugh has schizophrenia, paranoid delusions and persistent auditory hallucinations, and takes medication for those conditions. His brother, Randall McHugh, said he believes his brother has medication with him and is not dangerous.

"I've got to find my brother. I'm scared," said Randall McHugh Friday.

McHugh is described as a white male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 140 pounds. He has long, gray hair, a long, gray beard and hazel eyes. Police do not have a description of the clothing he was wearing when he disappeared.
