Johnson named interim fire chief

Brad Johnson has been appointed interim chief of the Henry County Fire Department.

He replaces Chief Bill Lacy, who is retiring after 30 years of service in Henry County. Johnson joined the HCFD in 1988 and has served for several years as deputy chief. The appointment was announced at the Dec. 1 regular meeting of the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
