A small electrical fire Thursday morning forced the evacuation of a Johns Creek preschool.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out around 9 a.m. in a closet at the Discovery Point Child Development Center on Jones Bridge Road near State Bridge Road.

A spokeswoman for the fire department said the blaze was confined to that closet.

Daycare workers safely evacuated all the children from the building as soon as the fire was discovered.

According to the Discovery Point website, the school offers programs for children ages 6 weeks through 24 months.
