The new location, at 231 Peachtree St. NE, is the fifth of 20 Salata restaurants expected to open from franchise partner Henry Investment Group in the Atlanta area.

The gluten-free certified chain bills itself as "the next generation salad bar" and uses homemade dressings, soups and sauces.

The downtown Atlanta eatery will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
